Operating system for port terminal management

We built an operating system for a port terminal that manages reservations, assignments, tracking, visualization and traceability of critical flows inside the operation.

Port operator ·

Bookings Operational management Registration and lookup of reservations inside the terminal.
Assign. Resource control Assignment management for operational flows.
Tracking Port flows Follow-up and visualization of operation statuses.

Problem

The terminal needed to coordinate multiple operational flows with traceability and visibility, but reservation, assignment and tracking management could be distributed across partial tools and manual communication.

Intervention

We designed a platform to register reservations, manage assignments, monitor operational statuses and visualize the progress of different terminal flows. The system organizes operational information in real time to support coordination and tracking decisions.

Outcome

The port operation gained a centralized view of its processes, with greater control over reservations, assignments and traceability. Teams can consult statuses, detect pending work and track operational flows from a single platform.

Context

Port terminals operate with multiple stakeholders, service windows, assignments and physical flows that require constant coordination.

Operational challenge

The client needed a platform to register reservations, assign resources or spaces, track operations and visualize the status of different flows inside the terminal.

Solution implemented

We developed an operating system with reservation, assignment, tracking and visualization modules. The platform allows teams to consult operation status and manage changes with a shared source of information.

Delivered value

The system brings order and traceability to a highly coordinated operation. Involved teams can see what is reserved, what is assigned and how each operational flow is progressing without depending on scattered information.
